A table widget allows you to create a very compact overview of a set of measurements so that you can see at a glance what's going on in your greenhouse, on any device. You can add a table widget to a dashboard by going into Edit-mode (click 'Edit dashboard'), clicking 'Add widget' and selecting Table:
You are then prompted to select the data points that you'd like to see and the object types (compartments or water systems for example) that you'd like to see them from:
After selecting the data points and from which compartments you want to see them on your dashboard, a table widget is generated. Still missing some data points? You can easily add or remove columns and rows by clicking the edit icon and selecting 'Edit data selection' (for columns) and 'Edit object selection' (for rows).
In the data selection view, there is also the option to change the order of the columns by clicking 'Change order'.
Further customization is possible. You can edit column names and cell colors by selecting the column (when you are in Edit-mode):
You can edit row names as well, but there's a smarter way to do that. These object names are all editable on the regular Operator pages by selecting 'Edit labels'. The custom names that you give to your compartments on one page, are displayed on all pages and dashboards, so you only need to do this once! More info can be found in this article.
Custom monitoring dashboards are a very powerful way to quickly see what's going on in your greenhouse and to immediately take action by changing settings. Creating these dashboards though, can be pretty time consuming. That's why we've created the ability to build custom table widgets, helping you save time building dashboards.
