Alarms can originate from technical installations in greenhouses or from devices providing connections to the Priva cloud.

Alarms related to technical installations

A system alarm for a technical installation can be activated due to a malfunction or a control logic condition from the Priva system. The alarm groups are predefined within the engineering software. Alarms that lack severity, such as operating messages, do not show up in the monitor; only alarms with high or low severity are visible.

In Operator, you can set alarm limits for measured values. If a measurement exceeds the specified values, an alarm will appear in Notification Center.

Alarms related to cloud connections

The alarm group Cloud includes the alarms related to cloud connections. This alarm group is predefined by Priva. At this moment, it only includes the ‘Gateway communication lost’ alarm, which means that the communication between the Edge Gateway and the Priva cloud is lost (indicated with status Offline in Installation & Maintenance).
