Use rules to limit the number of SMS/text messages sent to you (personal rules) or to people in your organization (organizational rules).
It is recommended to use the iOS or Android Notification Center app. This allows you to receive push notifications on your phone and eliminates the need for SMS notifications. There is no difference in reliability. Be aware that sending SMS notifications also requires an Internet connection at your site.
