Adjust how your dashboard widgets scale on mobile devices

Learn how to adjust the default behaviour of scaling grid widgets to different screen sizes

Your dashboard widgets automatically resize to fit smaller screens. That is convenient in most cases, but it can also rearrange a carefully arranged dashboard in ways you did not expect. The toggle 'Automatic resizing of widgets' lets you lock your grid widgets at their set size, so your dashboard always looks the way you set it up.

What this setting does

  • Enabled (default): grid widgets keep resizing to fit your screen, just like before.

  • Disabled: grid widgets stay at the size you set. On smaller screens, a horizontal scroll bar appears so you can still reach every widget.

The setting is saved per user, so it will not affect your colleagues' dashboards.

How to turn it on or off

  1. Open your dashboard.

  2. Open the dashboard action menu.

  3. Select Automatic resizing of widgets to toggle it on or off.

Your choice is saved automatically and applies the next time you view your dashboard.

Good to know

  • This setting only affects grid widgets. Other widget types are not impacted.

  • This preference is saved at the user level, so it will apply to all of your dashboards.
