What is a time server?

A time server is a server that reads the time from a clock assigned to it and forwards this information to other equipment.

Priva uses the time servers to make sure all the equipment and modules stay synchronized.

You can add external online time servers or use your own dedicated time servers on the local network.

How can I change the time servers?

Go to the settings tab. The second section is "Time servers". Click on the edit button. Click the remove button to remove any time server you do not wish to use. Click the add button to add the url for a different time server. When the time servers listed are correct, click on the Set time servers button in the lower right corner of the screen.

Note that when "All sites" is selected, the Settings tab will not show any settings. To see valid settings, first select a site.
