What is a time server?
A time server is a device that reads the time from a designated clock and distributes this information to other devices. Priva uses time servers to ensure that all equipment and modules remain synchronized. You can add external online time servers or use your own dedicated time servers on your local network.
How can I change the time servers?
1. Navigate to the Settings tab.
2. In the second section labeled Time Servers, click the Edit button.
3. To remove a time server you do not wish to use, press the Remove button next to it.
4. To add a new time server, click the Add button and enter the URL for the server.
5. Once you have confirmed that the listed time servers are correct, click the Set Time Servers button located in the lower right corner of the screen.
Please note that when "All sites" is selected, the Settings tab will not display any settings. To view valid settings, you must first select a specific site.
