How does system alarm acknowledgment work?

What happens when I acknowledge an alarm?

Acknowledging a system alarm in Notification Center indicates that you have seen the alarm and are addressing it, so your colleagues are informed. However, acknowledging an alarm does not silence the alarm signal on-site.

Once you acknowledge a specific alarm, you and your colleagues will no longer receive notifications for that alarm. Please note that this does not mean you will never receive notifications for that alarm type again. If the same alarm is triggered again after more than 15 minutes of inactivity, it will appear as a new alarm in the overview, and you will receive another notification.

How do I acknowledge alarms?

To acknowledge an individual system alarm, press the "Acknowledge" button next to the alarm. If you want to acknowledge all system alarms at once, press the "Acknowledge All Alarm Cases" button located in the upper right corner of the Notification Center screen.
