What is notification suppression?

The Notification Center offers a feature to suppress notifications in order to minimize excessive alerts. For instance, if a specific alarm triggers 150 messages within 5 minutes, notifications for that alarm will be suppressed until the frequency of messages drops below this threshold.

Once the number of messages falls below the 150-message limit, alarm suppression will stop, and notifications will resume as normal.

Notifications about suppression

Users are informed when notification suppression begins and ends. They receive updates about this suppression through email, SMS, iOS push notifications, and/or Android push notifications, based on their chosen notification preferences. Additionally, this information is displayed in the alarm case details within the Notification Center application.
